PRIVATE MOUNTAIN HARE PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDING IN THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS
Dates – 1st November – 1st April yearly.
Booking – Simply contact me using the booking form below with dates suitable for you and I will let you know my availability.
Our most popular photography workshop during the winter months. Mountain hares are an iconic species of the Scottish Highlands, and photographing them in their stunning upland environment is an unforgettable experience.
This is a highly flexible workshop and will be tailored to each visitor’s needs. Whilst many of our guests are enthusiastic nature lovers wishing to take their photography to the next level, it is equally common for us to guide award-winning semi-professionals. I can provide as much or as little photographic tuition as you require.
I’m also there to provide guidance when it comes to being out in the winter hills, which can feel like quite an adventurous experience for many. I am a highly experienced hill-walker and mountaineer, regularly writing articles for publications such as The Great Outdoors Magazine, UKHillwalking and Walkhighlands.
Please note! This day involves a fair amount of walking, typically uphill for quite some distance. If your fitness or health could be an issue, please be in touch and we’ll have a chat to discuss options.
What’s included?
-A full day of guided mountain hare photography.
– Tuition in field-craft, approach, and essential skills for upland wildlife photography.
– Advice on image post-production if required.
– The option to include an hour of red grouse photography (if time allows) for an additional £20.
