Included amongst ’10 of Britain’s most exciting landscape photographers’ by The Great Outdoors Magazine.

Based near Inverness, I am a multi award-winning professional photographer.

I am the director of Black Isle Nature Photography – leading wildlife and landscape photography workshops around the Scottish Highlands. I’m fortunate enough to run Scotland’s most popular daylight pine marten hide.

My work has received numerous national awards. I have been a category-winner in The British Photography Awards, the British Wildlife Photography Awards and The Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year, along with numerous other awarded images in competitions such as Landscape Photographer of the Year and the British Life Photography Awards.

I am a contributing photographer for Scotland: The Big Picture.

I am regular contributor to some of the UK’s most respected photography publications. I have shot images for and written articles on a wide range of subjects – from wildlife camera-trapping and mountain landscape photography, to long-distance backpacking, caving and ice climbing.

My work is largely outdoors based and I work with a wide variety of clients, ranging from authors, magazine editors and marine conservation charities, to the British Army.
